Solvezit is committed to take all reasonable steps to preserve the confidentiality of all Personal Information it collects in a manner consistent with applicable law.

Purpose/Scope: The purpose of this Privacy Policy (“this Policy”) is to  set out the manner in which Solvezit collects, uses, discloses and otherwise manages the personal information of job seekers,  candidates and visitors to our website available at www.solvezit.com and www.jobzz.ca (the “Website”).

Review Period:  A minimum of every two year or earlier in the event of legislative reform or as otherwise required to ensure data privacy compliance.

Personal Information: “Personal Information” means information about an identifiable individual. An individual’s personal information includes his or her name, home address, resume, references, education and work experience and other job-related information. However, it excludes business contact information when used to contact an individual in his/her business capacity, such as contact information disclosed on a business card.

Cookie

A cookie is a piece of data stored on the users hard drive containing information about the user.  Usage of a cookie is in no way linked to any personally identifiable information while on our site.

Solvezit may use online services to help it search for and recruit candidates, and may disclose information that identifies its candidates and employees to such service providers for this purpose.

Specifically, we may collect personal information when an individual/ company:

  • Visits on our Website;
  • Applies for a Job;
  • Post a Job;
  • Signs-up to receive job alerts;
  • Signs-up to receive job and career related emails;
  • Share a job listing with a friend;
  • Contacts us with a comment, question or complaint.

Applying for a Job

You do not have to register or create an account to visit and browse certain features of the Website. However, in order to apply for a job, you may be required to create an account. We collect your first and last name, email address, phone number and a password that you select in order to create your account, and contact you about your job application or other jobs that may be of interest to you. When you apply for a job, we also collect your resume that you upload as well as other employment-related materials you provide to us, including letters of reference, transcripts, awards, etc. We use this information to process your application, assess your qualifications and suitability for the job you applied for as well as for other current and future career opportunities. When you create your profile, we can also collect your physical address. this is not mandatory.

When you apply for a job, certain information may be made available to Solvezit. You will have to register or create an account to visit and browse certain features of the Website. 

Creating a job alert

If you sign up to receive job alerts, we will collect your email address, postal code and keywords for your job search. We use this information in order to sent you email communications about new jobs in your area that match your interests.

Signing up for communications

We may offer you the ability to sign-up to receive emails with job and career related information or other newsletters from us. When you sign-up, we collect information such as your name and email address which we use to send you the communications you requested to receive. You can opt-out of receiving these communications from us by following the opt-out or “unsubscribe” instructions provided in your email, or by contacting us as set out below.

Sharing and disclosure of personal information

We will not disclose, trade, rent, sell or otherwise transfer your personal information, without your consent, except as set out herein.

Service providers

We may transfer (or otherwise make available) your personal information to Solvezit affiliates or third parties who provide services on our behalf.  For example, we may use service providers to send our emails, host our website and operate certain of its features. Our service providers are given the information they need to perform their designated functions, and we do not authorize them to use or disclose personal information for their own marketing or other purposes.

You have the right to access, update, and correct inaccuracies in your Personal Information in our custody and control, subject to certain exceptions prescribed by law. We may request certain Personal Information for the purposes of verifying the identity of the individual seeking access to their Personal Information.
